Export copies source pages without rasterization. Thumbnails are previews only; searchable text, vectors, images, page sizes, and orientation are preserved.

Your PDF is processed locally in your browser and is not uploaded or stored by this tool.

Local page organization

The document, thumbnails and exported PDF remain in browser memory. ToolHub does not upload the file.

How to organize PDF pages

  1. 1

Select the PDF and allow the browser to create page thumbnails.

  2. 2

Move pages into the required order using the available controls.

  3. 3

Rotate sideways pages, remove unwanted pages or restore a page before export.

  4. 4

Duplicate or extract pages when the document needs a repeated or separate section.

  5. 5

Export the organized PDF and confirm page order in the downloaded file.

What you can change

Organize PDF combines common page-level tasks in one place. You can reorder pages, rotate selected pages, mark pages for deletion, restore them before export, create duplicates and extract selected pages into a new document.

PDF organization example

Move a cover page to the front, rotate page 4, remove a blank page and duplicate a signed instruction page at the end. Export the corrected document after checking the visible sequence.

How thumbnails and export work

PDF.js renders progressive thumbnails locally so you can identify pages. During export, pdf-lib copies original page objects into the new order. Thumbnail generation does not mean the saved PDF is automatically flattened into images.

Very large documents can take longer because each thumbnail must be rendered in the browser. Work carefully on a phone and keep the original file available.

Delete, restore and extract

A page marked for deletion can be restored before export. Extract creates a new output containing only selected pages. These operations do not change the original file on your device; they create a separate downloadable PDF.

Important limitations

  • Interactive content: forms, annotations, attachments and automatic actions are removed from new files.
  • Bookmarks: navigation structures may not follow a heavily changed page order.
  • Protection: encrypted or malformed PDFs may fail.
  • Review: confirm the exported order before sharing or deleting the original.
