How the image-to-PDF conversion works
Valid JPEG and PNG image data are embedded directly where practical. A supported WebP image is converted locally before being placed on a PDF page. The bundled pdf-lib runtime creates one PDF page for each selected image and follows the visible file order.
The converter does not send images to a remote conversion service. Large images still require browser memory, so very high-resolution batches may take longer on phones or low-memory devices.
JPG to PDF example
Select three receipt photographs, place the cover or newest receipt first, choose an A4 page with suitable margins and create the PDF. The output contains three pages in the order shown before conversion.
Choosing page size and image fit
A fit option keeps the full image visible inside the page area and may leave empty space. A fill or crop-style option can use more of the page but may trim image edges. Check portrait and landscape orientation because a phone photograph can otherwise appear smaller than expected.
Image quality and searchable text
The PDF contains visual images. It does not run optical character recognition, so words photographed on a receipt or document do not become searchable or editable text. Image quality depends on the selected file and layout; converting a low-resolution picture cannot recreate missing detail.
Important limitations
- One image per page: this tool does not build photo collages.
- No OCR: scanned text remains part of the image.
- Memory: many large images can exceed a browser’s available memory.
- Final check: confirm order, margins and orientation in the downloaded PDF.

JPG to PDF Converter FAQ
Can I combine several JPG files into one PDF?
Yes. Select multiple supported images, arrange their order and create one PDF with one image on each page.
Does the converter support PNG or WebP?
It accepts JPEG, PNG and browser-decodable WebP. Browser support can affect WebP decoding.
Will text in my images become searchable?
No. The PDF contains images and the tool does not perform OCR.
Can I keep high image quality?
Use a suitable page size and avoid unnecessary downscaling. The source image still limits the available detail.
Why is the PDF file large?
High-resolution or lightly compressed images can produce a large PDF. Resize or compress images first if needed.
Are my images uploaded?
No. The conversion runs locally in your browser and the files are not uploaded by ToolHub.
